PROTECT YOUR NEW BAG.
Keep your new lundi piece looking its best for years to come. Discover our recommended care routine with Bōme products, made in France and formulated to care for our leathers.
CARING FOR OUR SMOOTH AND PEBBLED LEATHERS
Our smooth and pebbled leathers are full-grain leathers, produced using a semi-vegetable tanning process.
Durable and well suited to everyday use, leather is made to accompany you wherever you go. It is still sensitive to light, weather, and daily wear, so its shape and appearance may evolve over time. Proper care is essential to keeping your lundi piece by your side for years to come.
1. Remove dust
Remove dust and dirt from the leather using the Bag & Leather Goods Brush. Its soft bristles clean effectively without scratching your leather goods.
2. Clean
If a stain appears on your leather, clean it promptly. Bōme Cleaning Gel lifts embedded dirt from your leather goods while preserving the material’s original look and feel.
3. Condition
Deeply condition the leather to help it age well and retain its suppleness without leaving a greasy residue. Bōme Conditioning Gel helps reduce most marks and scuffs on your leather goods.
CARING FOR OUR SAFFIANO LEATHER
Unlike our smooth and pebbled leathers, our Saffiano leather has a protective surface coating that gives it its distinctive texture. It is designed to resist water, scratches, and drying out. Care is simple: use a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and clean the surface. Occasionally, you can condition it with Bōme Conditioning Gel. Avoid oils, greases, thick shoe polishes, or heavy creams, as they can alter the appearance of Saffiano leather, darken it, or leave buildup in its textured grain.
2. Condition
Deeply condition the leather to help it age well and retain its suppleness without leaving a greasy residue. Bōme Conditioning Gel helps reduce most marks and scuffs on your leather goods.
CARING FOR OUR COTTON CANVAS
Our cotton canvas has a water-repellent, stain-resistant treatment that helps protect it during everyday use and limits liquid absorption. It requires no special care. If a stain occurs, simply follow this care routine to keep your bag looking its best over time.
1. Remove dust
Remove dust and dirt from the cotton canvas using the Bag & Leather Goods Brush. Its soft bristles clean gently and effectively without damaging your bag.
2. Clean
For light stains on your canvas bag, use a slightly damp cloth, blotting rather than rubbing. For more stubborn stains, apply Textile Cleaner with a soft-bristled brush.
STORING YOUR BAG PROPERLY IS JUST AS IMPORTANT
When you’re not using your bag, store it in its dust bag in a clean, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct light.
To help it retain its shape, use the tissue paper stuffing supplied with your bag. Avoid squeezing it into a crowded closet, and arrange the straps carefully so they keep their original shape.
